Health
Empowerment: Providing counselling for people living with HIV/AIDS and empowering them with the knowledge, means and support to know their status and how to avoid onward-transmission.
We assist in business ventures for people living with HIV/AIDS, enabling them to support themselves and their families.
OVC: We support Orphans & Vulnerable Children (OVC) directly or indirectly affected by HIV/AIDS, poverty, and other life threatening circumstances.
Malaria: This disease kills more people in Africa than any other. Every thirty seconds a child in Africa dies from malaria, 3000 children a day. ADAP provides workshops and information to local communities teaching them about the disease and methods that prevent malaria infection and treatment interventions.
Eyes, Ear, Nose and Throat (EENT): The Eastern region of the country currently has one of the lowest rates of physicians and nurses specializing in this field. ADAP is helping address this problem by providing the necessary support and staff training, and also creating awareness of the need and the opportunity for young students to take up the profession to better address the needs of the community.
Education
Student Tuition: Supporting children at various schools and institutions with preparation for further and higher education.
The programme also includes improving I.T. literacy amongst teachers to help further develop their skills and enhance on-ward training for their respective students.
