Q: Are your projects only based in the UK and Africa?
A: As it currently stands yes, however our aim is to one day have projects running in __other countries

A: No

Q: Would people of non-African descent be allowed to get involved in __developmental projects?
A: Yes, however the partnership programme we have with VSO and DfID is only __available for people of African descent.

Q: Does the organisation intend to work with other Diaspora organisations
A: Yes, we are currently a part of the Diaspora Voluntary Initiative, which consists of __12 Diaspora organisations in the UK.

Q: Once you become a supporter, would you be expected to pay a membership fee
A: Yes, all supporters are expected to pay just £5 per month. This helps the __organisation cover its administration costs such as rent, utility bills, support staff __both in the UK and Africa. It is also important to note that the organisation does __not totally rely on funding coming in from external agencies and/or funders, and __must therefore have other means of generating monies to carry out our work

Q: Would I be able to volunteer my service abroad without becoming a full Active __Supporter
A: No, before any volunteer goes on an international placement with ADAP, they __will need to register as an Active Supporter.

Q: Does the organisation have any political ties with any establishment or __government
A: No. ADAP focuses strictly on developmental work and does not involve itself in __any political institution, unless it is for developmental purposes only.

Q: If I decide to stop my support of the organisation, would I have all my __membership dues refunded back to me
A: ADAP does not refund financial dues or donations to supporters who no longer __want to support the organisation. If a supporter leaves the organisation, his/her __membership dues will be stopped straight away.

Q: Would there be opportunities for supporters to become a-part of the Board of __Trustees
A: Only Active Supporters will have the opportunity to stand for election as part of __ADAP's Trustees.
